After living in Australia for almost 5 months, we were certainly ready to touch down in Asia, where everything is more affordable and you really feel like you are 'travelling' again. 

The beauty of being able to sit down and order a meal at a restaurant without triple checking the prices and crying afterwards at your severely decreased bank account is indescribable. We also felt overjoyed to be able to drink out - something we also couldn't afford down under.

Bali was the perfect spot to end our trip, a combo of beach clubs, awesome restaurants, affordable surfing, healthy yoga vibes, amazing local culture, and a huge network of fellow travellers.


3 weeks was the perfect amount of time to explore the island, it also gave us time to hop on a boat to the nearby islands and see what they had to offer.
